DU Admission Test Notice 2024

Admission test will be held separately for each unit. Both written exam and MCQ exam will be taken. One applicant has to pass in both MCQ and written test individually. Exam time is – 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM (for all unit).

Note: There is negative marking for the admission test. 0.25 marks will be cut for every wrong answer in the MCQ exam.

Requirements for DU Admission 2023-24

DU Admission Result demonstrates the requirements for DU A, B, C and D unit. Each unit has separate requirements. Foreign student is allowed to apply, but his result should be converted to GPA. 

These requirements are common for every unit:

• Students those have passed HSC exam in 2023 can apply
• Candidate has to pass SSC exam in 2021, 2020 or 2019

A unit (science faculty): Total GPA in HSC and SSC- 8.00; minimum individual GPA in HSC and SSC – 3.50

B unit (Arts faculty): Total GPA in HSC and SSC- 7.50; minimum individual GPA in HSC and SSC – 3.00

C unit (commerce faculty): Total GPA in HSC and SSC- 7.50; minimum individual GPA in HSC and SSC – 3.00

D unit (Fine Arts faculty): Total GPA in HSC and SSC- 6.00; minimum individual GPA in HSC and SSC – 3.00
